Growing – Abstract Daily Painting 6″ x 6″

Did you ever grow plants from seeds as a kid? I remember putting beans (lima beans??) in soil in a clear plastic cup, then watching as nothing happened, and nothing happened, and nothing happened… and then it sprouted!!

There's a particular species of bamboo, the Chinese Bamboo Tree, that does nothing for five full years, then grows up to 90 feet in just five weeks.

I like to remember that when I'm feeling like things aren't moving in my life. Maybe I'm like Chinese Bamboo, just waiting for the right time to sprout.
